Bichir, all the information on this rare fish
This information works if your island is in the northern hemisphere.

The bichirs fished in summer, between the months of june and september for the northern hemisphere, and december to march for the southern hemisphere. You will usually find them at night, between 21 p.m. and 4 a.m. To have a chance of catching them, you will have to fish in the river. Bichirs are difficult to distinguish from other fish because of their decals average (4rd size out of 6 in total).
If you catch them, you can resell them 4 Bells, or donate them to the museum if you catch them for the first time!
How to catch rare fish on Animal Crossing?
To have a better chance of getting rare fish, we advise you to go to mystery islands ! These are usually good places to catch rare fish, like sturgeon or golden trout for example. You can also try to get some with bait, but the success rate is lower. You can craft bait by finding clams in the sand!
