How to fish in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
To fish will be very useful to you in Animal Crossing, to be able to catch fish with the aim of resell or exhibit them in the Museum. To fish, you must first be in possession of a fishing rod.
You can get it by crafting it with the diy blueprint which Tom Nook gives you quickly in the game. This is the very first tool you will learn to make at DIY workbench ! You will also be able to buy your tools from the Nook Shop, once it is open.
As soon as you have your fishing rod, you can now go in search of fish! You will find these in places with water, whether in the sea, in rivers or in bodies of water. The fish are easily visible, you will recognize them by their black color shape in water.

As soon as you spot one, you can then cast your fishing rod in his direction pressing the A button. Then wait for the fish to approach your hook, and bite on it.You will then see the hook wiggle, and you will have to press the A key again to move the line up ! If you pressed at the right time, the fish will also come up.
