Sturgeon, all the information on this rare fish
This information works if your island is in the northern hemisphere.
This very rare fish from Animal Crossing: New Horizons can be caught in winter, between the months of september and march. You will find it all day, there is no time for fishing. To have a chance of catching it, you will need to go to the river mouths, where the river meets the ocean. This fish will easily be distinguished by its large size (5th size out of 6 in total).
If you catch it, you can resell your Sturgeon for 10 Bells, or donate it to the museum if you're catching it for the first time!
How to catch rare fish on Animal Crossing?
To have a better chance of getting rare fish, we advise you to go to mystery islands ! These are usually good places to catch rare fish, like sturgeon or golden trout for example. You can also try to get some with bait, but the success rate is lower. You can craft bait by finding clams in the sand!
