How to expand the Residents Office in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
The Residents' Office is the green tent that you have as soon as you arrive on the island, and which is held by Tom Nook. This serves as a construction workbench for your objects, but also as a Nook Stop! Obviously, this tent will evolve and become a real building.
Very soon after your arrival on the island, Tom Nook will entrust you a spot : you will have to install three house kits on the island, and for each kit you will need to craft 6 different items. This task will take you a bit of time as there are a lot of materials to gather for each object, but once you've done that, you'll have three more residents!
But that's not all, since once this task is completed, Tom Nook will tell you that the population on the island is constantly growing, and that to improve its services, the Residents' office will move to a more solid building, similar to a town hall !
Two days later, you will have access to this new office, as well as to a new employee: Mary. This will help Tom Nook on a daily basis, and will be used in particular to guide you to increase the reputation of the island, but also to settle conflicts between neighbors. She is also the one who will now do the island bulletins every morning, instead of Tom Nook!
