Easter update in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, how to get it?
You may have woken up this morning launching Animal Crossing, with the aim of going on an egg hunt! Unfortunately, you realized that the game didn't update, and you don't understand why. Several reasons can explain this, and we give you the steps to follow to update your game!
1 - Put your console on the right date
La first thing to do is to check if your console is fine on the right date and at the right time. Indeed, events may not start if you are not on the actual date. To do this, go to your console settings, choose “Date and time”, and tick yes to “Get date and time via internet”.
2 - Check your internet connection
La second thing to do is to check if your console is well connected to the internet ! Without a connection, the game will not be able to update, and you will not have access to the event. Also in the console settings, you can check this information in "Internet"!
3 - Use a profile linked to a Nintendo Account
Finally, check that your profile is good linked to Nintendo Account. To do this, go to your user page, then "User settings". You will then see the Nintendo Account information!
If you meet all these conditions, then the update should be done. You will notice it when launching the game, the version number displayed at the top right will be "1.1.1.a".
