The studio has indeed updated its banner on Twitter, to only show a very dark image. However, some netizens, including the Charlie Intel account, have clarified this image, and a form resembling the Ghost character appears to manifest (at the top of the image).

— CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) April 22, 2022 Of course, this is just pure speculation, but knowing that Ghost is one of the emblematic characters of Modern Warfare 2 (the one from 2009), it is possible that we are indeed dealing with a teaser, suggesting the return of Simon "Ghost" Riley. It also implies that we will learn a little more about this Call of Duty 2022 shortly. Moreover, it would seem that an announcement will take place this April 30, as revealed by the insider Ralph.
The full reveal should however take place in May, as was the case for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, in 2019.
The wait therefore seems about to end for lovers of the Call of Duty franchise, and especially the Modern Warfare arc, which is the most popular, since Activision and Infinity Ward should tell us more in a few days . Regarding the release, do not expect it before the end of the year, as always.
