Unsurprisingly, Infinity Ward and Activision have announced that an open beta will be available for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, so players can sample it before the long-awaited release. Like its predecessors, Modern Warfare will offer a beta phase before its official launch. To be precise, two betas, themselves taking place in two phases, will take place over two consecutive weekends. If players playing on PlayStation 4 will have access to it in preview, cross-play will be functional once it is open to all platforms. In addition, although an open beta is available, having pre-ordered the title will grant you the right to play it before the others.
You can find the different phases below, with all the dates and information to remember, in order to be able to participate.
Week-end 1 - From September 12 to 16
12-13 September
Early Access | playstation4
14-16 September

Week-end 2 - From September 19 to 23 - Cross-play
19-20 September

21-23 September

During these two weekends, players who have not yet pre-ordered the game will be able to take the opportunity to get a first glimpse of what Infinity Ward will offer with Modern Warfare, although it will not be the final version.
More information about the beta, including the system requirements for the PC version, but also the modes available, will be unveiled as we get closer to that date, and we will not fail to communicate them to you.
As a reminder, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is due out October 25 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
