The assets are classified in three categories (asset 1, asset 2 and asset 3) thus forcing you to make choices. Each of the categories is focused on a type of bonus or almost.

Engineer → Spot enemy gear, combat upgrades, and killstreaks through walls. Just look through the crosshairs to point them out to your teammates. Hack enemy combat gear or upgrades.
Information Sharing → Indicators mark enemy reinforcements on your minimap. The minimap shows a larger area.
Sharp sight → Targets hit enough will be highlighted for a short time, making them noticeable through walls or in poor visibility.
