Call of Duty: Warzone: How do I report a player?

To combat cheaters, Activision encourages players to report them. If you don't know how to do it, we show you the steps to follow. Cheaters are unfortunately very common in Call of Duty: War zone, spoiling the gaming experience for a multitude of players. Whether using an aimbot, a wallhack or any other kind of cheat software, these ruin games and are a real pain. Activision keeps banning them, but cheaters are still present on Verdansk. 

Therefore, to intensify this fight, the studio encourages users to report all suspicious players encountered (whether in relation to his aim, his vision, his movements, etc.). But if you don't know how to report a player in Warzone, we explain the procedure to you.

How do I report a player in Warzone?

Know that this is quite simple and is done directly in game, unlike others where you have to go through the official site. If you've come across a suspicious player and want to report them for review by the experts at Activision, here's what you should do: 

• Open the Social menu (Y on Xbox, triangle on PlayStation)
• Then select the “Recent Player” option.
• You will then be able to report the player who seems suspicious to you in the list that is displayed. 
  • Then tap "Report Player".
• Finally, you will have to choose the reason for which you want to report this player.

Activision says you can also report a player for his behaviour, if he has made abusive, toxic or racist remarks. We take this kind of issue very seriously and appreciate you reporting cheaters and offensive players to us. Your report will be assessed and we will take appropriate action if necessary. All reports will be reviewed and if necessary, sanctions will be taken. Nevertheless, the developers specify that for confidentiality reasons, updates concerning the actions carried out cannot be provided.
