October 31st is Halloween, and the event will be celebrated as it should be in Animal Crossing: New Horizons ! The October update has already taken place, bringing with it its share of new features: disguises, sweets, pumpkins...
But that's not all, since a party will take place on October 31 between 17 p.m. and midnight on the main square! It will be possible to meet a new special character there: Jacqu'O, the Emperor of Halloween. This will give you some rewards in exchange for sweets!

Jacqu'O's rewards in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Halloween
Le 31 October, it's Halloween. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can celebrate the event between 17h and 00h by going to the main square. You will then find Jacqu'O, the Emperor of Halloween, which will offer you many rewards!
To get these Rewards, you should offer sweets to Jacqu'O : sweets or lollipops will be accepted! Feel free to stock up on them for a ton of rewards.
