There is only one major difference between the PS5 vs. PS5 Digital Edition, and this is the 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc Player. The PS5 Digital Edition does not include a disc drive, unlike the PS5. This means that there are obvious aesthetic differences between the two devices, as the PS5 Digital Edition has a slightly smaller profile due to the lack of a disk drive. The PS5, on the other hand, will give you a bit more flexibility, allowing you to use a combination of physical and digital media. If you own retail PS4 games, you'll be able to play them, although both consoles support backward compatible games purchased from the PlayStation Store.
