Star Wars: Hunters reveals a little more, but postpones its release to 2022

Announced at the beginning of the year, Star Wars: Hunters is a third-person shooter, where two teams of four players must compete in an arena, placing us in iconic places of the universe created by George Lucas.

A new trailer has been put online, in particular to contextualize the temporality a little better. We will find ourselves immersed after the fall of the Galactic Empire, between the sixth and seventh film of the saga. Some playable characters have been highlighted, like Rieve, a young Sith warrior, Aran Tal, a Mandalorian, or even a wookie fighter with Grozz. Droids can also be played, with J-3D1, or former members of the Empire with Sentinel.

Of course, each character should offer unique abilities, allowing you to create a complementary team to overcome your opponents. Currently, only eight characters have been introduced, but more are expected to follow.

Star Wars: Hunters will finally arrive in 2022, on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices in free-to-play (and without a Nintendo Switch Online subscription). Cross-play will be enabled to play with friends. You can already pre-register on the official site so as not to miss the latest information, unlocking in-game rewards when the title is released.
