Hide in a giant snowball at Drowsy Fir Trees, Brutal Bastion, and Lonely Labs, Winterfest 2022 challenge

A new set of challenges is available for players of Fortnite on the occasion of the end of year celebrations. This isn't really surprising, given that Epic Games always hosts an event around this time of year. For 2022, it's the return of the winter party and all that that entails. Several challenges, more or less easy, are therefore available and one of them asks you to hide in a giant snowball at Sleepy Fir Trees, Brutal Bastion, and Lonely Labs.

Unlike some years, giant snowballs are not directly available on the battlefield, and it is not possible to launch them via an object. You will have to create them yourself, which is, fortunately, not very difficult.

To do this, you simply have to go to a snowy part and hit the ground with your gathering tool. In fact, to save time, just go to one of the three locations, Drowsy Fir Trees, Brutal Bastion or Lonely Labs, and create a snowball for you to hide in. It will then be necessary to repeat the operation on the other two places, in order to validate this challenge.

Although the locations are indicated in-game, we mark them for you on our map below.


Note that it is not necessary to do this in the same game. You can do this very well in several games, especially if you get killed by an opponent in the meantime.
