Sometimes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you will come across funny characters, who will only be passing through your island! The first is called Gulliver, and will need your help to get back after being stranded on your island. We explain how to do it.

Help Gulliver find his transmitter circuitry in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
From your first days on New Horizons, you may quickly notice the presence of a seagull washed up on the beach. Come closer and wake her up by shaking her several times ! She will then introduce herself to you as Gulliver, and will explain to you that you got stranded on the island. Gulliver will then try to seek help using his transmitter, but it is broken! You will then have to help him by finding 5 transmitter circuits.
These are quite easy to find, and Gulliver gives you a first hint: you will find them in the sand. If you stop for a few seconds to observe the sand, you will notice that at times, a stream of water comes out. It is in these places that the circuits are hidden! Then you just need to dig with a shovel to dig them up.
Once you've found 5, go back and talk to Gulliver. He will send you a gift by post, which you will receive the next day in your mailbox.
Find rusty circuits
Thanks to Gulliver, you will also be able to obtain rusty circuits ! All you need to do is find transmitter circuits and keep them more than a day in your pockets. These will then rust and you can use them to craft certain items.
The other way is to go to the residents office the day after Gulliver comes, and search the recycling box. You will always find a rusty circuit there!
