Gyroids have many functions on Animal Crossing: New Horizons ! These cute little creatures can collect money to build new buildings, but it is also possible to collect them.


Indeed, since November 5, 2021 update, you can find Gyroid Fragments on the soil of your island as well as on top Admiral's Mystery Islands, and grow them and watering.

Finding Gyroid Fragments in Animal Crossing New Horizons

To get gyroids, you're going to have to start with plant a gyroid fragment on your island. To find a fragment, go with Admiral, and go to a mystery island. One fragment per day will be unearthed on Admiral's Islands.

Once in possession of one of these fragments, bury it on your island, then water it. The next day, a gyroid will be available ! You should be able to dig up more on your island once a first gyroid has been planted.

  • Tip: You should find new gyroids the day after showers.
