The free updateAnimal Crossing: New Horizons is finally available, bringing a lot of new features to the game! Among these, we find the kitchen, which is an important new feature of the game. It will now be possible to make many different recipes, from ingredients present on the island!
But to be able to cook, different steps have to be followed, and the first is to unlock the Creation + application! We detail everything below.

How does the kitchen work in Animal Crossing: New Horizons?
To cook, there are three main steps that will be followed, and which will be detailed a little further down:
- Unlock the Creations app +
- Build a natural stone kitchen
- Gather the necessary ingredients, then cook!
How to unlock the Creations + application?
The first step to cooking is to unlock Creations+. To do this, go to Town Hall Nook Stop, then select " Redeem Nook Miles ". All you have to do is buy Creations + for 2 Miles!
The application will automatically be added to the Nook Phone, with some recipes already available.
How to make a Kitchen?
Once you have received the application, you will notice that it is necessary to have a kitchen to make the different recipes. Getting a kitchen is pretty simple!
Meet in your different manufacturing plans. You will find a Natural stone kitchen to craft, which was added to your blueprints when you purchased Creations+. Build this kitchen, then put it where you want it.

How to get new cooking recipes?
Once the kitchen is obtained, all you have to do is collect the different ingredients needed for the recipes you want to make. If the proposed recipes do not suit you, you can get 8 new recipes by going to the Nook Shop cabinet. Just buy the bundle " Getting started in the kitchen in exchange for 4 Bells! Recipes will be added to your Nook Phone.
