This insect from Animal Crossing: New Horizons is caught in the evening and at night, between 17 a.m. and 4 p.m. You will find it between the months of June to September in the northern hemisphere, and the months of december to march in the southern hemisphere. Mosquitoes are mainly caught in the sky!
If you catch it, you can resell your Mosquito for 130 Bells, or donate it to the museum if you have it for the first time!
How to catch rare insects on Animal Crossing?
