Borderlands: "Claptrap" end for filming, see you in 2022

After several months of filming, all the scenes of the movie Borderlands have, normally, been shot. This means that it is thus entering its editing and production phase, where the film will be arranged. A phase that can last several months and sometimes require the actors to return a few scenes.

To break the news, the Borderlands Twitter account shared an image of Claptrap, the character's first live-action version, holding the ending clapperboard with the message "It's in the box."

Claptrap really wanted to let you all know he made it down the stairs safely. That, and the production of #BorderlandsMovie has officially wrapped! See you at the theaters in 20 pic.twitter.com/69NFljVjDc

    — Borderlands (@BorderlandsFilm) June 22, 2021 As a reminder, the cast of the film is quite pretty on paper, with the presence of Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Kevin Hard as Roland or Jamie Lee Curtis who will play the role of Dr. Patricia Tannis. No images have been revealed yet, other than a few glimpses of the silhouettes of the main characters.

    Borderlands:
We will therefore have to wait a little before having a first trailer and a final date for the cinema release. Borderlands the movie is currently slated for a vague 2022 release.. Remember that by then, we will be able to enjoy a new game, with Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, based on the character of Tiny Tina, also played by Ariana Greenblatt in the film.
