One of the hardest first tasks players have trouble doing in Untitled Goose Game is learning how to convince the Groundskeeper to take off his hat and put on the protective hat.
While there are plenty of options, the easiest and least tedious is staring the players in the face from the start. Even in trailers.
To start, enter the garden and head to the area with the unique Tulip. You can tear that off using your beak.
Then make sure the gardener/gardener/whoever you want to call can see you. Drop the tulip and make sure he picks it up. Go back to where you took it out.
The man will kneel down to replant it and while doing so, you can grab his hat for a split second. If you fail to get the hat the first time, just repeat the whole process.
Once you have the hat. To run. Run to the river and drop the hat on the other side, near where the game starts. The man can't get out that far from his level, so he won't be able to collect it. He will then return defeated to his shed and put on his sun hat.
