PlayStation Error Code NP-35000-8 Explanation

    PlayStation Error Code NP-35000-8 Explanation

If you're trying to connect to PlayStation Network and getting error code np-35000-8, you might be a little annoyed that you can't connect to play your favorite games. This error code will show up when the PSN is under maintenance.

Sony advises that the best course of action is to simply wait until the maintenance period is over and check the Network Service Status to make sure the PSN is down.

Frankly, there can be instances of network instability that won't cause the service status page to update, and that only seems to happen when the issues are brief or only affect a small number of people. Sony will normally have these issues fixed very quickly, and you can usually expect to be able to get back to playing the game quickly.

These issues can be caused by many issues and can occur either with Sony themselves or with your ISP due to unusually heavy traffic. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do other than the traditional fixes of turning your console off and on and resetting your router to see if that will fix the problem.

If you continue to have connection problems, we advise you to visit the PlayStation Fix & Connect part of the PlayStation Support website.
