Normally, we should have enjoyed Rainbow Six Extraction from this September, but to provide a better experience for future players, Ubisoft preferred to postpone its cooperative FPS for several months. A few weeks ago, the studio updated its site, indicating a release date scheduled for January 20. Which has just been confirmed.
In addition to announcing this new release date, which hopefully won't be changed again, more good news has come from Ubisoft. First, the selling price has been reduced, for all editions. The standard thus goes to 39,99 euros, and 49,99 euros for the Deluxe edition. These two editions are, moreover, already pre-orderable on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. Each pre-order will also unlock the “Orbital Decline” skin pack. Three more packs will be obtainable through the Deluxe.
The other very important detail, which will allow many players to test the experience before a potential purchase, is the addition of the “Buddy Pass”. This feature allows each Rainbow Six Extraction owner to invite up to two friends to experience FPS. They will be able to enjoy all the content for 14 days (only valid on PC and consoles). If these players decide to buy the game afterwards, the progress will, of course, be saved.
Rainbow six extraction is, as a reminder, a cooperative shooter for up to three players, in which the team, made up of Rainbow Six: Siege agents, will have to face extraterrestrial creatures on new maps. Each of the characters will have their own progression system. See you from January 20 to discover Rainbow six extraction sur PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One et Series.
