Clash Royale: Decks week 2, best Ram Rider decks

Our articles on Clash Royale Clash Royale: Week of Decks 2, best Ram Rider decks From December 17 to 18, then from December 20 to 23 and for the second time, we offer you a deck per day that fits into the current meta.

After the last balance, but also the world final of the Clash royale league, the second "Week of Decks" was a must. The formula remains exactly the same: for one week, we will tell you about 7 decks (1 per day), which have their say in the current meta.

This December update, which will soon bring a woman with her ram, brought forgotten cards back to life, including the Royal recruits, as we will see this week.

Day 1: 3 Musketeers Extractor Arena 9

Composition of the Deck

three musketeers

elixir extractor

thief

battle ram

Hunter

Ice Golem

Barbarian Barrel

Fireball
Average cost : 4,3 Type : Dual Lane / "Bait"

Played by Legend (who won the CRL with new sports) and featured in this video, it's an up-to-date interpretation of a rotating deck with two trump cards: theelixir extractor and three musketeers. This deck made it possible to make 85 victories during the last global tournament, i.e. second place in the ranking (behind the Russian Hazard with 100 wins).

Don't forget one thing:elixir extractor cannot appear from 1st to 4th position, which is not a problem for the author of the deck and quite the contrary, it can be a great asset. As explained, one of the most preferred openings is to begin either with the thief, be the Ice Golem and then put the three musketeers. Here the goal is to see if the opponent has a big spell and from there two options emerge, broadly summing up how you should play this deck:

- If he has one and he used it, you have the free field to put your elixir extractor in play, while maintaining your defense.

- If he doesn't have one or doesn't use it, be offensive and put pressure on both of your opponent's lanes.

Other than that, your deck has the units you need to get by: a Ice Golem that protects or can distract attention, a Hunter which will serve on the ground and in the air, a thief who can help in defense and strong in attack and a battle ram which will support your pushes well. He is also accompanied by Barbarian Barrel which remains in use even though it has been nerfed and the Fireball for your big spell.

Finally, it's clear that this deck will do better in double elixir, given its high cost, but also theExtractor. When these are used well, your opponent will have a lot of difficulty defending, given the different attacks on both sides of the arena and should crack fairly quickly.

Day 2: 3 Musketeers Royal Recruits Arena 9

Composition of the Deck

three musketeers

Royal recruits

thief

Minor

horde of gargoyles

Electrocution / Zap

Barbarian Barrel

elixir extractor
Average cost : 4,6 Type : Dual Lane / "Control"

A deck that is very heavy, but formidable in a double elixir. Indeed, in the offensive period, just having them three musketeers and Royal recruits in the same push can cause big problems for your opponents. On the other hand, you will have to be patient, because it would be risky to be offensive from the start, especially if your Extractors are countered.

Le Minor is an excellent offensive and defensive option, which can allow some of your units to do better, Horde et thief understood. Otherwise, do not rush and wait for favorable conditions to start the machine. However, the Royal recruits are usable outside this period, if only as a defensive asset and that they are more difficult to counter than the Musketeer holes.

Day 3: Arc-X Cycle v2 Arena 8

Composition of the Deck

Arc-X

ice wizard

mega gargoyle

Ice Golem

Skeletons

The log

Tornado

Roquette
Average cost : 3,3 Type : Cycle / Seat

Played by Karnage, the archetype Arc-X is one of the most famous in the history of Clash Royale and deserves some light. This triple spell deck relies on a very light defense, allowing us to play our victory condition as quickly as possible. However, it is a difficult deck to play and can suffer greatly against tanks.

Two essential elements should be noted:Arc-X can be played defensively from time to time and the Roquette should only be used if using it ends the game.

Day 4: Rider Cycle Arena 10

Composition of the Deck

Rider

Musketeer

ice spirit

Ice Golem

Skeletons

The log

Fireball

Canon
Average cost : 2,8 Type : Cycle

All it takes is a new card to give a new twist to a very famous deck in the history of Clash Royale : the cycle pig rider. Here you have the epitome of what a deck cycle is: low cost with light defense to put as much of its starting condition on the field as possible, as explained above.

If you have unlocked the Rider, you will notice that our duo fits very well into the starting list: you will not have the speed of the Pig Rider if its cost of 4 elixirs, but this is compensated by a little more life and less easy defense for the opponent. Finally, do not hesitate to put your Ice Golem in front of Rider when you can: it will greatly help you.

Day 5: Rider Gel Arena 10

Composition of the Deck

Rider

Gel

Mini PEKKA

Sarbacane goblin

Gang de gobelins

Princess

Ice Golem

The log
Average cost : 3,3 Type : Cycle

Once again, we are in front of a variant of a deck with the Pig Rider, but which has not been processed on our site. Played by fuchi (CRL World Finals semi-finalist), the benefit of this deck, other than the addition of the Rider, is that he has cards that have had significant buffs, namely the Gel and Sarbacane goblin.

It's a cycle deck where the goal is to be able to use the Rider regularly, while cycling your defense, resembling that of a bait-type deck. the Gel is offensive, if only to surprise, but also to be able to get rid of a defense that is counterable. the Mini PEKKA is a card that will do you a great favor and is excellent against tanks like the mega knight and Skeleton giant.

Day 6: Double Rider Cycle/Arena Control 10

Code to copy-paste the deck on Clash Royale

Composition of the Deck

Rider

Pig Rider

Mini PEKKA

Sarbacane goblin

Gang de gobelins

mega gargoyle

Electrocution / Zap

Fireball
Average cost : 3,5 Type : Cycle / Control

Even if they are rivals in the scenario, nothing prevents you from combining them in play, which gives you a rather solid deck and quite fun to play. Even if the cycle aspect of the deck is important because of your victory conditions, its cost also means that you will have a control aspect that comes into play.

Even though Pig Rider must be cycled as much as possible, the case of the Rider is different. Indeed, you can no longer use it in counter-attack/defense, because its hindrance can block opposing victory conditions. Therefore, it is always good to have it on hand. Also, due to the cost of your other cards, it's good to wait and attack with some elixir in reserve (4/5 is good).
