The latest installment in the Call of Duty series is full of possibilities, and one of them is the hardcore mode, not being clearly indicated. That's why we explain how to take part, while detailing the available modes. For several days Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been available, and players have been able to discover, at their own pace, the novelties put in place by Infinity Ward. However, some iconic modes of the franchise, such as the hardcore mode, present for nearly a decade, are still in the game.

However, it may not be easy for everyone to start a hardcore party, since this mode is not explicitly indicated.

As a reminder,he hardcore mode increases the realism, but also the difficulty, with, in particular, less information on the screen of the players, greater damage or even allied fire authorized. This is a mode highly appreciated by part of the community, and a multitude of video games today offer a similar mode, greatly helping the immersion of players.

How do I start a game in hardcore mode?

To get started, just go in the main multiplayer lobby, in which you have to look at the list of game modes, present on the left of the screen. Then you have to select the filter, which reveals several modes. To reveal the list concerning the hardcore mode, you must press a specific key: R on PC, square on PlayStation 4 and X on Xbox One. You just have to select the modes you want to play, and return to the lobby, and finally start a game.

What hardcore modes are available?

A total of five modes are, at the moment, available in hardcore, namely Team Deathmatch, Cyberattack, Domination, Search and Destroy, or Headquarters.
