Rainbow Six: Siege: Cross-play is coming very quickly to PC, early 2022 on consoles

We have known for a few weeks that the arrival of cross-play and cross-progression, allowing you to play with friends on any platform and resume your account and progress regardless of the medium, were coming soon. We now have more information, since the studio gave some details during the Ubisoft Forward, this June 12.

Therefore, features will arrive on PC, Stadia, and Luna as early as July 30, but we will have to wait a few more months for everyone to be able to enjoy them with their implementation on consoles, planned for the beginning of 2022. On this date, Xbox and PlayStation players will therefore be able to launch a game at the same time, even if many users are not delighted with this announcement. Regarding PC and console cross-play, we do not know if it will be part of it, or if Ubisoft has decided to drop it following the remonstrances of the players. We will know more very soon.

Along with this announcement, we had the right to the story trailer of the North Star update, which will bring a new Agent, named Thunderbird. You will find more information here.
