Announced almost two years ago during theE3 2019, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is apparently still under development. Although Nintendo has announced that the title will give its news during this year 2021, the game is despite itself quite discreet.
However, new rumors come to feed certain information, in particular that of the release window of the title. According to the Zippo insider, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic, so a 2021 release would be highly unlikely. Even if the development is apparently about to be finished, the health crisis has indeed not arranged the work of the developers.
Thereby, the insider plans a spring 2022 release, with new information during E3 2021. However, these are just rumors and not official announcements. We must therefore take the words of Zippo with tweezers.
In the meantime, fans of the license will once again have to be patient before having new information on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.
